The Human Institute and UAPMed Launch “Investigating Non-Human Intelligence”—A Public Lecture Series by Leading Experts on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena

Together with UAPMed, the Human Institute is launching Investigating Non-Human Intelligence (NHI), a public lecture and panel series examining the scientific foundations for researching anomalous phenomena and the ethical, legal, and policy ramifications of humanity’s engagement with potential non-human intelligence. The series emphasizes the urgent need for high-quality data, stronger evidentiary standards, and systematic field investigations.

Investigating Non-Human Intelligence brings together leading scientists, field researchers, and public thinkers to articulate the methodologies, frameworks, and investigatory practices necessary to build a credible and evidential basis for examining the existence and intentions of a potential non-human intelligence.

Sessions will focus on how to collect, verify, and share primary data, how to design rigorous field investigations and how to evaluate testimony using transparent, testable criteria. The inaugural talk will be given on November 7, 2025, by Michael Cifone in a livestreamed keynote followed by a moderated audience Q&A. Registration is now open, with priority question access for early registrants.

The next speaker in the series is Dr. Garry Nolan who will give a presentation December 12, 2025 on developing a research roadmap for that prioritizes data collection, evidentiary rigor, and reproducible analysis when investigating reports of anomalous encounters, biologics, and technologies of unknown origin. Upcoming topics in the Investigating NHI series will expand the speaker roster to include leading voices from law, policy, social sciences, and experiencer studies.

As the Investigating NHI series progresses, key topic areas will be explored, including:

  • Detecting Signs of Intelligence
  • Communication and Contact
  • Social and Psychological Impacts
  • Encounters and Physiological Effects
  • Policy and Institutional Responses

Registration to attend lectures and panels is free and open to the public and lectures and panels will livestream at the Human Institute YouTube Channel. In addition, the series is seeking qualified speakers and encourages interested subject matter experts to submit an abstract and proposal to present.

As part of its broader public-interest mission, the Human Institute is also developing UFOevidence.com (UFOe), a groundbreaking open-access platform for data collection, evidence scoring, and public education on phenomena associated with UFO/UAP.

UFOe is designed to make primary data and contextual resources available to researchers and the public alike and to encourage citizen field reporting—supporting data standardization, best practices in case documentation, and pathways for independent verification.

About The Human Institute

The Human Institute is a forward-looking research and policy organization addressing the scientific, societal, and governance implications of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) and potential Non-Human Intelligence (NHI).

Through methodical research, transparent data sharing, and multidisciplinary collaboration, we aim to foster responsible governance, inform public discourse, and advance our collective understanding of this transformative phenomenon.
